Axelda ’ s story actually begins long before the company came into existence . David Axelsson spent many years working at tanneries and selling shoes , during which he developed an interest in sheepskin products .
The more factories he visited , the more his interest grew until it became a passion , whereupon David founded Axelda with its own design studio and sales in Sweden .
