What animals do you work with ? I show pigs . How long have you been in the FFA ? This is my second year being in FFA .
What do you like about FFA ? I live in town and don ’ t get spend time on a farm so I am actually really glad to get the experience of what farmers go though . It ’ s kind of cool to get to deal with pigs on a daily basis cause that ’ s not something a lot of people get to do .
What have you learned in FFA that you didn ’ t expect to learn ? I ’ ve learned that patience is key with pigs . You can ’ t just expect them to do what you want them to do , so I ’ ve learned a lot of respect and patience .

Why do you like the FFA ? That I get to show the cattle and some days I get to skip school .
What have you learned in FFA that you didn ’ t expect to learn ? I want to work with cattle when I grow up , so I ’ ve learned how they are and how to work with them in different ways .

How long have you been in the FFA ? I ’ ve been in FFA since freshman years , so this is my third year .
What do you like about FFA ? I just like the bonds that I have with everyone ; the people here are super friendly . I like that I always have someone to talk with and hang out with .
What have you learned in FFA that you didn ’ t expect to learn ? I ’ ve learned that you have to push yourself to do things that you might not think you ’ ll like . I ’ ve also learned a lot of communication and leadership skills .

What animals do you work with ? I ’ ve been showing hogs for two years . How long have you been in the FFA ? Two years .
What do you like about FFA ? Just all of the agricultural stuff you get to do . I like to show hogs , but I also want to do welding and it gives me the opportunity to be involved in those classes , as well .
What have you learned in FFA that you didn ’ t expect to learn ? To have confi dence . You have to put in a lot of work in this program and really learn how to work with the animals so it really helps you have a lot of confi dence in yourself .
