Connu pour l'invention de la chaîne de montage, le constructeur automobile américain Ford est fondé
par Henry Ford à Detroit en 1903.
La "Ford Motor Company Ltd" (Angleterre) est établie à Londres dès 1909 tandis qu'en 1925, la "Ford Motor Company
Aktiengesellschaft" est inscrite au registre du commerce de Berlin, faisant de Ford le premier véritable acteur mondial
de l'industrie automobile.
Ford Angleterre et Ford Allemagne fusionnent et deviennent Ford Europe en 1967.
