HOW TO CLEAR NETFLIX HISTORY?
1. Log in to the user profile that you want to modify. Do it from your computer since the option is not yet available on the mobile app. Therefore, enter from the browser of your computer or tablet to the Netflix website and log in to the account where you are going to edit the content.
2. Once you are inside, select the icon of your user profile that will appear at the top right of your screen and click the Your Account option. Another page will open in which you will see the My Profile section.
3. My Profile section allows you to configure Language, Playback, Subtitles Appearance and other options. Here you will find in the bottom right the option of Viewing Activity. Click on it to erase the content you want from the account.
4. When entering this option, the screen show the list of the series, films, and documentaries that you have watched; the order will be from the most recent to the oldest. Note that next to each title, on the right side along with the option to report a problem, there is a cross that indicates the option to delete.
5. Click on the X of the title you want to edit in order to delete it. This way you can delete titles one by one that you do not want anyone to see or you can clean the entire history.
6. When you click on the option to delete the title, marked by an X, you can choose to delete the whole series or movie or the times it has been reproduced. Given the option to remove the series or movie altogether, a warning will appear that tells you that the title you have deleted will be deleted from your viewing activity of all your devices in 24h. Therefore, this movie or series will disappear completely from all the devices you use but you will have to wait for one day.
7. This way, Netflix will no longer suggest movies, series or documentaries related to the titles you just deleted from the history of your account, the deleted content will not appear in the Recently Watched section, nor will you be offered to continue watching it.
8. Also, one way to prevent others from seeing some things you ' ve recently watched is from the Manage Profile feature, where you can edit the list of Recently Watched and separate it from the lists that others have on this account.
