Editor’s Letter
Welcome
Do you know what I love about the time we’re living in?
It’s a time of endless possibilities to express ourselves. Of course, that educated us to an oversharing generation that’s been haunted by news. News with and without content. And frankly said I got
tired of some of our social platforms.
Anyway, we’re are a generation that is constantly hungry for new things. And so I’ve found myself
in trying to create something new. The result is a little lifestyle magazine. Digital technologies make
it possible and easy for me to launch my own magazine, publish it online and make it available to a
broad audience. I can be my own photographer, my own illustrator and writer and so on. I think that’s
awesome and I appreciate it a lot.
I would call myself a Londoner now after I’ve been living here for almost five years now. A blessed
Londoner because I know that a city like London is an underestimated challenge and not for everybody it’s the right place to live. We all complain about the high living expenses, the long commutes,
the dirty air and the uncoordinated tourists on the weekends. But we do not complain about that
we have to speak in English, the opposite - we love to speak English. I love to speak English! We
do not complain about the fabulous exhibitions, concerts, pop up bars, posh places, classes, food
markets, fashion shops and so on. We embrace the Flat White Economy of East London as much
as we embrace exploring all the opportunities that this metropolis is offering us.
This magazine is from a Londoner for Londoners, and for all the people out there who are interested
in how it is to live in London - the New York of Europe. And although we are in the middle of Brexit,
London is famous for being the most multi cultured city in the world. And I think it’s one of the most
important places in Europe. Why? Because here in London you will not only meet a lot of young
Europeans, you will meet, eat, explore cultures from a lot of other countries around this globe. It’s a
hub. A hub of creativity and entrepreneurism that changes you forever. And it motivates you to just
do what you love.
I’m happy to mention that most of the photographs in this issue are taken by myself. Illustrations and
texts are also created, written and edited by myself. I’m not perfect in what I do but I always try to
improve in whatever I’m doing. I don’t want to be someone else than me, being authentic with my
flaws and my talents.
Enjoy the first issue which is about how to be a more relaxed person and how to enjoy chillaxing
things in the city.
