Freedom Project have taken the idea of using a creative venture for a greater social purpose with their Fawohodie brand. By creating sustainable employment for young Ghanian women with the hopes of creating long term development opportunities, Freedom Project have found a way to use fashion to create sustainable international relations. With the Ghanian women sustainably producing the fabrics prints, they are then transformed into western cuts, such as jumpsuits and sweatshirts, to create a cultural fashion hybrid.
Last years November launch was an amazing experience. With support thick and strong in the air, it was great to see a platform where people of mixed backgrounds gathered to celebrate the incredible work Freedom Project do amid profound support and performances from young performers,
