Typical sections of radial and circular street
Section on Retail and Food Promenade (radial street)
The section shows the typology of the two main streets, the Food
Promenade and the Retail Promenade.
Both streets are exclusively pedestrian, except for residents’ cars and for
service to shops. The street has a strong commercial connotation focused
on the promotion of the Armenian products exposed on the ground loor
and eaten at the upstairs restaurants.

The shape of the buildings allows diferent promenades scenarios
depending on the season. During the summer visitor can walk in the shade
of the porch, avoiding the heat of the sun. During winter, at the irst loor
the continuous bow-windows allow a promenade sheltered by rain and
snow.

Section on Artisan Promenade (circular street)
The section shows the typology of Artisan Street, which links circularly the
two main radial promenades.
The streets are exclusively pedestrian, except for resident’s cars or for
service to shops. Buildings open to the street with two integrated envisaged
functions: on the ground loor there is the Artisan Workshop, with a direct
window on the street to expose the products created in the workshop and
occasionally an additional loor used as a showroom; upstairs we can ind
the craftsmen’s houses.
