who longs for connection. The first science fiction story written by Mary Shelley in the 1800s is one about a man Victor Frankenstein that created something he was horrified by. Mary Shelley created this story in her early 20’s in germany, at the surface Frankestein is born but deeper it talks more about romantic ideals specifically about beauty and love. Mary Shelley traveled through Geneva where many of her stories take place, she spent much time there, many believe it was the inspiration.
