Pumpkin - Imagine a pumpkin, but with legs… and a tail… and it barks.
Hot Dog - Get it? 'Cause, it's a hot dog… a hot dog!
Superhero - Heck yeah, I want my dog fighting bad guys for their tennis balls!
Cat - See, it's funny, 'cause dogs aren't cats… they hate cats.

As mentioned previously, black cats have always been this stereotypical familiar of the witch of Halloween. In addition, black cats have always been the subject of bad luck and mischief, so dressing up as a black cat was always Halloween-like. But hey, you don't have to necessarily dress up as a black cat, do any cat! Do a munchkin!
Pirate
Again, perhaps one of the popular costumes because of a movie: "Pirates of the Caribbean." There's nothing terrible about that; in fact, this is probably one of the most creative ones yet since you have so much freedom with it. A pirate could be anything, from a captain to the first mate to privateer turned into a pirate, the list goes on! However, most of the time, people tend to lean more towards the Jack Sparrow… sorry, Captain Jack Sparrow costume, since it's more recognizable and the most famous pirate in movie history.
