One night while Lou is sleeping, he wakes up paralyzed, and the beauty crawls up his body and strangles his neck. Another time the cutie is threatened, and it creates claw marks on the person's chest, but after two days, the deep scratches disappear.
They also find out from the priest that it could be 'Annabelle Higgins' who died in the field where Lorraine's house was. The doll asks to stay with Lorraine and Angie, and there are even notes with childlike handwriting that reads "Help me" "Help me Lou." Lorraine and Angie decide to contact a priest from a church to do a holy prayer in the house and try to take the doll with him.
The beauty doesn't leave without a fight, and on the ride back home, Lorraine's car swerves, and its brakes are failing. Finally, the doll is locked up in a glass box with a sign that reads "WARNING: Please do not open" Many people have visited to go and look at her. Those who have taunted her or laughed at the doll have died; something terrible happens to or near them. Lorraine has said, "That doll has done evil things. I don't even want to look at that doll."
