” Soft tissue conditions around natural teeth and dental implants are playing a major role in terms of periodontal and peri-implant health – as well as for aesthetic aspects . In cases requiring modification and improvement of the soft tissue conditions – either at natural teeth or dental implants – the use of autologous soft tissue is still considered as the “ gold standard ”. However , the harvesting site is at the same time a major factor causing post-operative morbidity for our patients .
Hence , soft tissue substitutes , such as Mucograft or Fibro-Gide from Geistlich , allow us to avoid harvesting soft tissue from the palate , while still giving us the possibility to improve the soft tissue conditions . Especially for Fibro-Gide , scientific evidence is accumulating that the gain in soft tissue thickness is getting closer to the gold standard of a connective tissue graft .”

Mjukvävnadsförhållanden vid implantat – Vad kan vi använda för att förbättra dem ?

Föreläsningen kommer att fokusera på diagnostik , behandlingsplanering och kirurgiska tekniker för hantering av mjukvävnad vid implantat i syfte att förbättra estetiken – men också för att bibehålla den parodontala och periimplantära hälsan .
De olika ” flap designs ”, tekniker för autolog vävnadshämtning och möjligheter med mjukvävnadsersättningsprodukter diskuteras och illustreras med flera kliniska fall . Eventuella skillnader när det gäller indikationer och hantering av autolog vävnad jämfört med mjukvävnadsersättningsprodukter kommer att behandlas i detalj .
• Den praktiska delen kommer främst att fokusera på hanteringen av mjukvävnadsersättningsprodukter vid implantat .
• Hands-on delen kommer att omfatta tekniker för att öka bredden på keratiniserad mukosa och tjockleken på periimplantära mukosan .
