Firstly , I would like to say how great the past year has been serving as your historian . It has been a dream come true and one that I never expected to experience .
Next , I would like to explain the theme of the scrapbook this year . After the year that we have experienced , I wanted to dedicate this scrapbook to all the essential workers that have helped us get through the pandemic . To all the teachers , doctors , delivery

workers , etc ., thank you so much for the hard work this past year and all other years and thank you for working so hard this year . To all the future teachers , doctors , etc . in our membership , I hope this past year has inspired you and I can ' t wait to see all that you will accomplish .
Lastly , I could like to thank you all so much for persisting and showing your JCL spirit even during national lockdown . I looked forward to seeing everyone ' s photos and videos at the end of each month ; they kept me inspired throughout the whole pandemic . Though we cannot be together physically this year , I have full faith that you all will enjoy this virtual convention ! Moreover , I ' d like to thank my amazing mentor , Jen Jordt , and my predecessor , Jason Juang , for all your help . Finally , I ' d like to thank the other board members for being so great all year even though we ' ve never met in person . Thank you all so much for the support and for making this pandemic year bearable with all your JCL spirit .
