A Letter from the Historian
Dear NJCL,
Long ago, the four nations lived together in harmony. Then, everything
changed when COVID-19 attacked. Only the Avatar, master of all four
elements, could stop them, but when the world needed him most, he vanished.
(This is a joke and a parody on the intro of Avatar: The Last Airbender.)
It has been the highest honor serving as your historian. It has always been a
dream of mine to be NJCL Historian, and even though the experience has been
a little different than I expected, this made the journey more worthwhile.
Whether it be your Photo of the Month pictures, Chapter Spotlights, or State
Submissions, the process of seeing passionate JCLers across the country has
been incredibly special. Taking those unique memories into the scrapbook is
something that I hope you can both reminisce and learn from.
To my mentor Jennifer Jordt and my predecessor, Jesse Hogan, thank you for
your guidance and help throughout my time as historian.
To my fellow officers, thank you for the friendship and all of the memories
that we made in this hectic journey.
To AHS JCL President, Timmy Green, thank you for keeping me committed
and enriching my passion for photography, JCL, and beyond.
E corde,
Jason Juang
