NJCL Scrapbook 2016 - 2017 | Seite 26

December January “Omnia vincit amor. Love conquers all. Walton JCL is built on love for lat- in, family, and giving. In the month of December, Walton JCL gave back to the community in more ways than one. WJCL’s annual Saturnalia donation drive donated more than $200 to a family of 3, wrote letters for members in the community, and garnered enough cash to donate 2 Kindle Fires to kids in need. Walton JCL donates every year because we know donating gives so much happiness to families this holiday season and bring our community closer. Our photo of two JCLers hugging, Kesley Mo and Lee- am Marquez, represents the love Walton JCL spread this holiday season and throughout the year!” “Oak Hall JCLer Noah Harris teaches young children how to spell their names in Greek as they look on in fascination at the Gainesville International Festival. This event’s mission is to share different cultures and customs with the greater Gainesville community, which perfectly describes this picture. We love spreading the Classics and JCLove!” - Kiki Schmalfuss Winner: Shreya Pandya Walton High School, Georgia Winner: Kiki Schmalfuss Oak Hall School, Florida - Shreya Pandya 26 27
