The event will be held Sunday, Jan. 18 at the Spray Beach Yacht Club in Long Beach Township on Long Beach Island. Spray Beach is noted for its longstanding support of local businesses and PBA Local 373. “This is the first one we’ve done so hopefully it can turn into an annual event,” said Local 373 State Delegate Brendan Kerlin. “Our guys are very excited. We’re having a Chinese raffle and a lot of the guys have stepped up to get prizes and a lot of the local businesses have been great.” The dinner will be held from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., and will include a beefsteak meal catered by the famed Brownstone in Paterson. The ticket price is a $50 donation and portion of the proceeds will benefit the annual New Jersey Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics. “We all know how good the Brownstone is and how good it has been to the PBA,” Kerlin added. “We’re going to have a bunch of TVs showing the NFL playoffs games, and even though the Eagles aren’t playing hopefully we will fill the room.” For tickets contact Kerlin at 609-6183495, Jason Hildebrant at 609-2900839, Kevin Lyons at 609-548-2930 or any PBA 373 member.
