The Movember movement generated proceeds to benefit The AmericanCancer Society, the Prevent Cancer Foundation, Fight Colorectal Cancer and St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. Bound Brook Local 380 Members formed a team "The Fuzz” and put down their razors after Cranford Chief James Wozniak waved the department’s grooming policy for the cause. “It’s a conversation starter,” stated Local 52 President Tom Bell. “People in the community see us and ask about the facial hair.” Each participant on the 22-member team was required to raise at least $100 and “The Fuzz” raised more than $6,000. Local 380 officers from left, Jason Gianotto, Gerard Flanagan, Tom Burgin, Janos Bojtos and Robert Pikulin raised $3,115.
