Dudley brings a special class
and more to State PBA

The shoes fit, so that’s why Joe Dudley wore them to the 2016
Valor Awards. Spats, Spectators, whatever you call them, the twotone, wing-tipped shoes the Local 146 State Delegate sported
provided a tipping point as to the selection of Dudley as 2016 NJ
State PBA Member of the Year; why he emerged from the 33,000plus.
“That’s just my style of dress; I have an affection for double-breasted, pinstripes and spats,” quipped Dudley, illustrating the style and good humor that makes him so affable in and
around the union. “I was born 50 years too late. I should have
grown up during Prohibition.”
It’s gotta be the shoes, but really it’s also so much more that
makes Dudley stand tall and stand out amongst the thousands
who stood up so proudly and enthusiastically for the PBA in 2016.
He has walked a lifelong path combining a passion for education
and training, service to his Local 146 family, a devotion to union
values that began as a kid and boundless ingenuity and passion
to becoming what he defines as a loyal PBA crusader.
