PBA GETS OUT THE VOTE
Joseph Lagana grew up in Paramus alongside many of the
PBA members who rallied to his aid during Election Day. And
while they grew up to fight crime, Lagana answered the call to
fight for them.
“Paramus is my hometown and I wanted to support the PBA
who’s here to support us,” he emphasized. “When you look at
what (the government is) doing with our public employees and
first responders who have been attacked over the past few
years, it’s unfair. The problems are caused by the politicians
and the governor, and I feel like it’s my duty to protect these
people.”
Lagana, who entered politics in 2011, joined the assembly in
2013 and was optimistic about his chance of reelection in the
38th District. Fighting alongside him was fellow 38th District
Assemblyman Tim Eustace.
“We appreciate (that the PBA is rallying today) because this
is one of the tightest districts in the state,” Eustace acknowledged. “They know we do a lot to help them and they’re here to
help us get across the finish line today.”
