2016 NJ State PBA Mini Convention SURVIVOR & WELFARE DONATION State Delegate Keith Hudson Morristown Local 43 William Duggan Knights of Columbus Council 359 For the second year, Knights of Columbus Council No. 359 took the stage with members of Morristown Local 43 and Morris Township Local 133 to present the State PBA with a donation toward the Survivor & Welfare Fund. Presenting the $3,000 check to State PBA President Pat Colligan and Executive Vice-President Marc Kovar is (from left) Knights of Columbus Council 359 representative William Duggan, Local 133 State Delegate Brian Markt and Local 43 State Delegate Keith Hudson. “Without (the Knights of Columbus’) fundraising efforts we wouldn’t have been able to make this donation,” attested Hudson. “It just shows in these trying times that there are groups that still support the police.” In honor of its 20-year anniversary, Police Unity Tour Founder Pat Montuore and Executive Director Harry Phillips Harry Phillips took the stage to recognize the unwavering support of the Executive Director NJSPBA. “(The PBA) has supported us selflessly since the beginPat Montuore ning,” confirmed Montuore about the ride that goes from Founder North New Jersey to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial (NLEOM) in Washington, D.C. “We could not be where we are without their help and this is a small gesture we’re making in front of the membership so they can see what their leadership has been doing. Not just now, but in the past as well.” Phillips and Montuore presented plaques to State PBA President Pat Colligan and Executive Vice-President Marc Kovar, as well as to PBA Special Projects Coordinator and retired 2nd Vice-President John Hulse, who has ridden the Unity Tour numerous times.
