133 State Delegate Brian Markt and Local 43 State
Delegate Keith Hudson.
“Without (the Knights of Columbus’) fundraising efforts we wouldn’t have been able to make
this donation,” attested Hudson. “It just shows in
these trying times that there are groups that still
support the police.”
In honor of its 20-year anniversary, Police Unity Tour
Founder Pat Montuore and Executive Director Harry Phillips
Harry Phillips
took the stage to recognize the unwavering support of the
Executive Director
NJSPBA.
“(The PBA) has supported us selflessly since the beginPat Montuore
ning,” confirmed Montuore about the ride that goes from
Founder
North New Jersey to the National Law Enforcement Officers
Memorial (NLEOM) in Washington, D.C. “We could not be
where we are without their help and this is a small gesture we’re making in front of the membership
so they can see what their leadership has been doing. Not just now, but in the past as well.”
Phillips and Montuore presented plaques to State PBA President Pat Colligan and Executive
Vice-President Marc Kovar, as well as to PBA Special Projects Coordinator and retired 2nd Vice-President John Hulse, who has ridden the Unity Tour numerous times.
