It’s the same thing in the ring,” he later explained. “Everything has to do with your training. And training for the fight helps you on the job. It keeps you in shape, and you never know when you’re going to have an altercation in the jail or on the street.” It appears as if all of Teller’s hard work paid off. At 1:23 of the first round, the referee stopped the match in Teller’s favor. When the matches ended and the sweat had been wiped from the ring, the fighters embraced following a collective job well done.
