Give us the 4-1-1
on your Local
Spread the word about your Local’s achievements, fundraisers,
community service, events, promotions and other outstanding
work through NJ Cops Magazine’s 4-1-1 page
Four ways to get into NJ Cops, the official magazine of the NJ State PBA:
1. Feature or news story: Send us an idea for a news or feature story about an
achievement by a member or by your Local. Include a brief description of
your idea, contact information for sources and any photos you have to go
along with the story. Make sure to include contact information, including
emails and phone numbers.
2. Around the State: This is our monthly roundup of Locals’ activities,
achievements and events. Submit up to 250 words in a Word document or an
email and include any photos that you have as well as contact information.
3. The 4-1-1: The 4-1-1 page includes the monthly calendar and is the best way
to advertise your event for FREE to every PBA member in the state.
4. Job Well Done: Has a member saved a life? Helped a child? Foiled a robbery?
Let the state know with a description of the member’s actions. Give us the
information and we’ll collaborate with you to write a story showcasing your
best members. Make sure to include contact information for the member
being featured as well as the member submitting the information. Also
include as many photos as possible.
5. Closing Arguments: A commentary or insight on challenges or issues related to law enforcement. Submissions must be no longer than 800 words.
Send all items to news@njspba.com by the 20th of each month.
All photographs must be submitted in jpeg format at 300dpi or greater
(Digital cameras of three megapixels or greater will work).
If your Local is looking to advertise your event, fundraiser
or business in N.J. Cops Magazine, the “Friends & Family Discount”
is available to all PBA members. For more information,
call 201-880-7288.
