Tony recommended him to the PBA Board, “and that just sent me through the roof,” he said. “What impressed me about Keith is how he understood the PFRS is all about watching out for people’s livelihoods,” President Wieners commented. “Some of the cases they deal with are hard. There’s a lot of pressure. But we believe Keith will know how to balance doing the right thing against following the rules of the PFRS to find solutions that truly benefit our members.” With regard to his qualifications, well, Bennett is on the record about his reluctance to speak about himself. The PBA members who know him – and that’s a lot – describe Bennett as having a level-headed approach to making smart decisions.
