Patrolman Wargo lives on through
roadside memorial bill
Four years after the death of
Mount Arlington Patrolman Joseph
Wargo, Assemblywoman Annette
Quijano (D-20th District) will add to
her proven track record of supporting New Jersey law enforcement by
visiting the roadside site where
Wargo was killed by an intoxicated
driver.
On Oct. 26, Quijano will join Judy
Shoudy, an advocate for the “Joseph
Wargo Roadside Memorial Bill” at
the site in Mount Arlington to pay
their respects and bring attention to
get the bill passed.
The bill establishes a Department
of
Transportation
roadside
memorial program for fallen police
officers, EMS workers and firefighters.
