Local 98 officers revive town resident In an April town hall meeting, the Middlesex County Board of Chosen Freeholders recognized members of Sayreville Local 98 for performing CPR and saving the life of a six-year-old resident on March 21. Officer Sean McGrath arrived on the scene within three minutes of the 9-1-1 call, immediately assessed the child and began CPR. Officers Jeffrey Taylor and Chris Engelbrecht arrived on scene one minute later and assisted McGrath with the resuscitation. “Teamwork is essential in any emergency and I am very proud of the actions of our officers and communications staff,” said Sayreville Police Chief John Zebrowski. “The ability of our personnel to respond so capably to any type of emergency is a result of continuous training in many disciplines.” d From left: Sayreville Police Chief John Zebrowski, Officers Sean McGrath, Chris Engelbrecht and Jeff Taylor, Communications Operator Mark Hurley and Freeholder H.
