Jets honor Linden hero officers New York Jets Military/Law Enforcement Liaison Representative Steve Castleton came to Linden City Hall on Oct. 20 to present Mayor Derek Armstead and the Linden Police Department with an invitation to the Dec. 5 Jets home game honoring first responders. Castleton brought Jets hats for the four officers involved in the Sept. 19 shootout with bombing suspect Ahmad Rahimi. He also presented the Linden mayor and the Police Department with an autographed Jets football, signed by defensive lineman and Linden resident Muhammad Wilkerson, who inscribed, “Thanks for Keeping Us Safe.” Castleton said the honored officers will emerge from the tunnel at the beginning of the game, following a contingent of State Police motorcycles and will be accompanied by other first responders. d From left, Chief Jonathan R.
