This course provides an overview of
specific responsibilities and duties of
each respective position of a Local exec-
utive board, detailing each role so that
the entire board has a stronger, more
educated working knowledge of each
officer’s duties and obligations to make
the executive board stronger and more
cohesive.
NJSPBA Bookkeeping Course

Open to all treasurers, bookkeepers and
presidents
This course offers an overview of general
bookkeeping, including licensing and
documentation responsibilities for the
organizations. This course is designed
for the bookkeepers and treasurers but
is also an excellent course for presidents
and vice presidents to keep up-to-date
on the finances of their Locals.

struction on QuickBooks for bookkeep-
ers and treasurers.
Engaging with Local Legislators
Wednesday June 20
10 a.m.
Course conducted by Rob Nixon, NJSP-
BA
Open to all State Delegates
This course will guide those new to
interacting with legislators with an over-
view to engage with elected officials
on the local, county and state level. This
course will provide the dos and don’ts of
establishing a labor-legislator relation-
ship.
