Awe-Inspiring Members from across the state combine for an unforgettable tribute at the New Jersey Law Enforcement Offi cers Memorial Service ■ BY MITCHELL KRUGEL ■ PHOTOS BY ED CARATTINI JR. Union County Sheriff’s Officers Local 108 member Marc Mac- cerelli quickly realized what NJ State PBA President Pat Colligan had been talking about for the past year, urging members to at- tend the New Jersey Law Enforcement Memorial Service. Empty chairs evoke so many emotions that make the New Jersey Law En- forcement Memorial Service an event that every officer should come to. And keep coming back to. Just thinking about how a sense of honor blends with a CONTINUED ON PAGE 66 Summit Offi cer Mathew Tarentino Montclair State University Campus Police Sergeant Christopher Vidro www.njcopsmagazine.com ■ JUNE 2018 65
