Rather, they were set aside for special personal deliveries made later in the day by a team of Bergen County officers who visited the rooms of Tomorrows Children. Amidst all the commotion of toys being dropped off, sort- ed and then loaded into vehicles that pass through, Nicolet- ti’s mind is fixated on creating that one magical moment for every child and every family at Christmas. That goal has re- mained constant, even as he retired four years ago but con- tinues to hold tightly onto this Bergen County tradition of giving back. “You know when you’re young, and there’s that special moment when you opened a gift that you’ll always remem- ber,” Nicoletti describes. “That’s what the SRT wants to do, create that unforgettable moment for a child.
