Filling the Bill
31
The bill to transfer running PFRS to an
independent board was reintroduced to the
state legislature in February. All signs point to
the bill once again being overwhelmingly
approved in the Senate and the Assembly. And
all roads lead to the governor’s desk, where
the NJ State PBA and the other public safety
unions believe that more than two years of
hard work will finally come to pass with the
bill being signed into law.
