Local 152 teammate Anthony Corcione wore the names proudly on this chest as he reminisced about each of the brothers’ legacies. “Captain Eichert was the guy you wanted to work for,” Cor- cione stressed of the Local 152 member, who died of cancer on Nov. 8. “He took care of his guys and was a great example as an officer and even more so as a supervisor.” Corcione also recalled Faust’s warm greeting at the en- trance to the corrections facility jumpstarting his work day for so long. Faust’s absence has been felt within Local 152 ever since he retired after 26 years and passed away on Aug. 27. “They were such pivotal people in our department,” Reves stated following the team’s victory against Bergenfield Local 309 in its first game. “It was a no-brainer to put them on our chest.” d 60 NEW JERSEY COPS ■ APRIL 2018
