This course provides an overview of specific
responsibilities and duties of each position
on a Local executive board, detailing each
role so that the entire board has a stronger,
more educated working knowledge of each
officer’s duties and obligations to make the
executive board stronger and more cohesive.

presidents
This course offers an overview into gener-
al bookkeeping, including licensing and
documentation responsibilities for the
organizations. This course is designed for
bookkeepers and treasurers but is also an
excellent course for presidents and vice
president to keep up-to-date on the finances
of their Locals.
Intro to QuickBooks

This course offers introductory-level instruc-
tion on QuickBooks for bookkeepers and
treasurers.
Engaging with Local Legislators

Course conducted by Rob Nixon, NJSPBA
Open to all State Delegates
This course will guide those new to inter-
acting with legislators with an overview to
engage with elected officials on the local,
county and state level. This course will
provide the dos and don’ts of establishing a
labor-legislator relationship.
