A caterpillar turns into a butterfly . This is called metamorphosis . It means that something turns into something completely different . Another word for this is “ transformed .” When we commit to being followers of Jesus , we are changed . We are now children of God . Read these verses . Remember that you have been transformed by your belief in Jesus .
Do not conform to the pattern of this world , but be transformed by the renewing of your mind . Then you will be able to test and approve what God ’ s will is — his good , pleasing and perfect will .
