Nur ul Ilm Academy is a traditional Islamic Academy. It focuses on the spiritual and
academic growth of the Muslims by conducting online and in-person talks, courses and
intensives in English and Urdu.
The Academy offers full time Arabic and Shariah Law courses for brothers and sisters,
along with other short courses.

Shaykh Tauqeer م �اك ت � ب دامت
Shaykh Tauqeer is well‑versed in both Islamic and secular education. He graduated with the Aalim degree
after studying several major texts in all sciences of Islam according to Wifaqul Madaris, Pakistan’s
eight‑year curriculum. He has ijazah (authorization) to teach all major books of hadith by one of the
most renowned and senior muhaddith of our time, Shaykh ul Hadith Mawlana Taqiuddin Nadwi, and
also by globally renowned and well known scholar, Shaykh ul Islam Mufti Muhammad Taqi Usmani.
Additionally, he also holds a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering from the Ohio State University,
USA and has been the Director of many multinational corporations across the globe. Shaykh Tauqeer

received ijazah and khilafah (successorship) from his shaykh, Shaykh Zulfiqar Ahmad م �اك
to spiritually develop students in the path of shariah and sunnah. Shaykh Tauqeer co-founded Nur ul Ilm
Academy alongside his wife in 2008 where he teaches all levels of Arabic and Shariah programs. Shaykh
Tauqeer also travels all across the world to deliver lectures and help people develop spiritually. He is
currently pursuing his post graduation degree with specialization in jurisprudence, called ifta (the science
of giving legal Islamic verdicts).
Aalimah Nadia Sadiq
Aalimah Nadia Sadiq, also known by her students as Baji Jaan, is the wife of Shaykh Tauqeer and principal
of Nur ul Ilm Academy (Women’s branch). She holds an MBA degree with a discipline in Marketing.
Aalimah Nadia has been a student of Shaykh Zulfiqar بركاهتم دامت in the path of self purification and Islamic
spirituality since the year 2000. Aalimah Nadia started her Aalimah program in Chicago and continued
in Pakistan where she graduated with the Wifaqul Madaris Aalimah program degree along with Masters
in Islamic Studies. She established Nur ul Ilm Academy in 2008 under the guidance of her Shaykh.
Aalimah Nadia has dedicated her life to work amongst Muslim women and girls and invite them to the
deen, as well as teaching them Islamic conduct and mannerism. Aalimah Nadia regularly conducts various
workshops and seminars on contemporary issues and lifestyle management to women of all ages and
disciplines. Aalimah Nadia also travels with her husband, Shaykh Tauqeer, to conduct lectures throughout
the world.
