When you meet Rue Volley, you learn very quickly she has cast a spell on you from the moment you've locked eyes with her. She's warm, friendly, and bluntly direct. In fact, I'd go so far to say, the "F" word is her favorite word. She doesn't say it for shock value or to sound trashy, to her, it's simply a word. No different than, say, cucumber. With the exception, she would say; 'F-N' cucumber.'

However, don't let the brash words, or the evil grin scare you away. The girl in the comfy yoga pants, hipster glasses, and long black hair, is one of the most generous, and giving authors you will ever meet. She's been writing professionally for the last five years and in that time has penned over 45 books, and become an international best selling author. And if that is not enough, she, is also a professional photographer and graphics art designer. Those are just 3 of the gazillion hats she wears in her everyday life.

Highway 2 Hell

RV: I dreamt the first scene last summer. Typed it up and shelved it for 3 months. Then one day I opened it up and the story spoke to me.

NA: Did you know from the beginning this was going to be a trilogy?

RV: I did not. The story took me where it wanted to go. I know in the end there will be 5 books. I have one more handbook of backstories I want to do.
