“RMS Manufacturing only manufacturers switchboards using quality
electrical switchgear and components from the industry’s most reputable
suppliers, like that of NHP,” commented RMS Manufacturing’s Managing
Director, Mina Shehata.
A major component of the project was the installation of the CUBIC
Switchboard, which is fully modular and has a smart design that is fast
and easy to assemble. Designed to meet strict safety demands, the
CUBIC switchboard system is also characterised by a high degree of
operational dependability and safety, has type testing certification up
to 7000A at 120kA and is designed and built by accredited switchboard
builders only.
“CUBIC’s quick delivery of components and unique assembly method
allows for speedy and fully modular construction, which was a primary
consideration based on the tight deadlines for the project,” said Vinh Tang,
from NHP’s Automation Business Development.
The Carlo Gavazzi WM30 energy management smart modular power
analyser was also specified to ensure the ongoing availability of power
capacity monitoring at the Campbellfield factory. The multi-function
meter provides exceptional energy management data to improve risk
management, equipment reliability and productivity while reducing
greenhouse gas emissions and maintenance costs.
NHP’s range of Terasaki circuit breakers completed the solution,
providing quality protection of the electrical installation against over
currents and short circuits.
NHP and RMS delivered the project with an extremely fast turnaround
time while ensuring all aspects met Nestle’s standardised requirements.
“The NHP and RMS teams performed above our expectations, with the
turnaround time less than half that of our previous projects and thanks
to their experience and expertise, we were manufacturing our medicated
lozenge range in Campbellfield on schedule,” said Nestle spokesperson
In this project, NHP and RMS worked seamlessly to ensure the
components aligned with the requirements and no downtime or
decreases in production occurred. The standard design can now be
applied to Nestle sites all over Australia, and the increased power
capacity is energising the relocated production.
