O n 4th November, the Year 12 Tourism class and Miss Gray went on an after-school trip to the Spookers Haunted Attraction to get spooked by the creeps. We went into 2 attractions - The Haunted House and The Freaky Forest. We were all pretty scared when we went through the haunted house, especially Marit who had her scarf over her head saying “put your hands up for Detroit. I love this city” It was really killing our buzz. The freaky thing that was scariest when going through the haunted house was when we went through the pitch black dark and you could feel people’s hands touching you. It felt creepy as. Towards the end of our journey through the haunted house we met up with some Fijian guys who were cool and great they lead the way for us, and Evan lent a hand when Marit was so scared. Following that we went down to the freaky forest but before we went through I said “oh look at that cute cat” but unfortunately it was a possum and everyone started laughing. When it was time to go through the freaky forest we had no torch so luckily for us the Fijian guys were there again and we went through as one big group with them. It was so funny going through there as the actors grabbed us and really tried to make us scared. I kept annoying them by saying ”Nek minit” and all you could hear was them copying what I was saying. Miss Gray was really scared. I hadn’t seen her that scared before and I kept laughing. It was so funny because they were all holding on to me! When we finished going through the freaky forest we wished we could do it all over again. On behalf of our year 12 tourism class we would like to thank Miss Gray for taking her valuable time to take us to Spookers. “I hope we can do it again next year Miss Gray!”. - by Sharnay Cocup
