On this Friday evening the group were
brought by their families to the Rose Park North
Stake Center where the New Zealand Returned
Missionaries Reunion was being held, and at
which the group was to entertain. Over 800 people
were at the Reunion, the majority of whom had
served prostelyting missions for the LDS Church
in New Zealand.
It was discovered that the group’s
performance had been pre-advertised on local
TV! Several of the group saw the advertisement
as they surfed their way through some of the huge
range of TV stations available.
The group warmed up in a classroom away
from the stage. The audience was full of praise for
the group who gave an emotional display. A koha
of US$50 was presented to the tourists after the
show.
