The second week back into Term 2 the
group held a de-briefing evening with parents and
whanau, where selected students gave short
addresses on aspects of the tour.
Several gifts were presented to the school in
the form of photographs and books, as a record of
the tour.
Each traveler was presented with a framed
photograph of the group in costume on the edge
of Grand Canyon with a larger version of the
same photograph going to the school, along with a
two- meter long photograph of Grand Canyon.
A collection of over 300 photographs of the
tour was on display and selected photographs
were enlarged for display in the Ngaruawahia
High School Foyer.
Copies of the group photograph were also
donated to Radio Tainui and to the Ngaruawahia
Public Library.

As many of the photographs as possible that
were taken on tour were collected and form the
basis of the pictures that appear in this album.
