The travellers have called in to pay respects to Waiata Kingi, who is buried in the family cemetary on a small hill above the marae. A whanau and travellers photograph on the Whâtâpaka marae. The tourists visited Waiata’s grave and then entertained with a portion of their tour programme. The hosts fed the group and gave a koha for use on the trip.
