Saturday 11th April 1998
To Los Angeles
Only eight made it up for breakfast while the
rest caught as much shut-eye as possible before
leaving for Los Angeles. At 8:45am Tutereinga
thought it was too hot already!
The breakfast group passed through the
gaming rooms to get to their morning meal it it was
humming and jingling with hundreds of gamblers.

The morning the group were to leave Excalibur, all the
baggage was stockpiled in Richard Crawford’s so that
the porters could trolley them down to the foyer.

Many of the host families from Boulder City arrived to take us and the luggage to the Las Vegas airport. One host family
travelled 350 miles south from Salt Lake City just to help the group move from the hotel to the airport!
