The Boulder City performance in the LDS
Chapel was enthusiastically received by the
capacity audience. Riki Lee Peters was getting over
a chill in her kidneys, thanks to a blessing given to
her by her hosts. She had stood around in the cool
night air in her wet togs after a hot spa. Rihi MitaWatene was not 100% either and missed out on the
performance.
Presentations were made to Kawana and to
Wally Murray for their contribution towards the
organisation of the tour in the Boulder City area.
The troupe headed home at 9pm to rest up
ready for a 7am departure for Grand Canyon in the
morning. They were aware that the journey would
take over 4 hours from Boulder City to Grand
Canyon village on the South Rim.
