At 1:30am, after a midnight visit to Vegas’s Freemont
Street in Las Vegas, Te Whainoa just can’t stay
awake. Freemont Street is roofed with tens of
thousands of multi-coloured lights that act like a
massive television screen. Five to ten minute shows
appear in light and sound on the roof at regular
intervals.

A 6-hour journey from Provo saw us in Boulder City, a short
hop south-east of Las Vegas, near Hoover Dam.

Early in the morning as the group re-gathers at the Pohe’s for breakfast. The golf course over the back fence is
regularly used by many of the top names in golf and the entertainment industry (eat your heart out Paora!).
