ne hundred and forty participants
enjoyed the 2007 Winter Wonderland
Ball held at the Endowed College, Hopuhopu
on Saturday September 8th.
The students looked elegant as they
disembarked from limousines, Cadillac's and
the many other forms of transportation. The
venue greeted them with a three piece band
playing as they entered the grand entrance.

The dining area easily catered for the
hungry throng and the DJ had everyone
rocking on the dance floor.
The tables were decorated fit for royalty
and the colours represented the ‘Winter
Wonderland’ theme.
There was a separate area where
students had photos’ taken as they posed in
front of a soft winter back drop.

Elsa White and Patrick Taylor were
crowned Belle & Beau of the Ball, while Lania
Fretwell and Jordan Tukere were Princess &
Prince.
Wharepouri Tukere and Tori Wymer were
Best Dressed with Manaaki Whare and
Kerrod Mes being the cutest couple.
The Ball Committee had worked long and
hard and were well rewarded.
