The feeling of Emptiness

A
s the warm days start to
fade away and a cool
breeze comes sweeping past
me, I notice a familiar smell, not
just any smell but a smell of
light frost as it touches the sand
mixed with cold, fresh sea
breeze.
I’m stunned at the thought
that winter has arrived. As I
walked down to the beach the
mood of the sea and the whole
atmosphere takes me back to
that winter morning...
The sea was grey and calm
after a week of gusty wind and
chopping waves. There was a
cold airy flat sky.
I walked towards the
