uring the year under
contract
with
the
Department of Conservation
and several other secondary
schools our senior carpentry
students built 10 sets of stairs to
be positioned on Mt Pirongia.
In February eight students
lived on the mountain over a
two week period and helped to
construct platforms and fix the
stairs in place.
This has been an excellent
experience for our students.
