Planning for the NFLC

9

If you've decided to attend the 2014 NFLC (and we hope you do), below is a step-by-step guide for planning for the NFLC.

1. Promote the NFLC

Promote the NFLC among FBLA members and non-members. The

NFLC is open to everyone, including non-registered FBLA members,

making it a great opportunity to pitch FBLA to prospective members

Be sure to take advantage of the posters and other marketing

materials in the back of the pamphlet.

2. Set a Final Roster + Fundraise

Set a deadline for deciding to attend the NFLC. This allows for one-time registration, which will make your hotel and transportation

plans stress-free. Please note that you must have at least one adviser

per 10 students. While fundraising may be tougher with

considerably less time to fundraise than the NLC, every penny will

help bring down the cost of the trip for your members. Fundraising

ideas are official FBLA fundraising partners can be found in the

back of the pamphet.

3. Book the Hotel + Shuttle (If applicable)

The hotel and shuttle often fill up quickly, so be sure to make

reservations as soon as you have a final roster. You can find the

reservation forms in the back of the pamphlet. Please note that you

must stay at an FBLA sponsored hotel and make your reservation

through FBLA. Don't wait until the deadline (Oct. 10th) to make a reservation.
