The Foundation has been privileged to support North Florida College’s exciting momentum toward expanded educational service. With the opening of the NFC Live Oak Location at the historic train Judy Agner Lundell depot site, the Foundation was able to provide the first cohort of Live Oak location students with need-based scholarships. The Foundation is at work in garnering support for the highly recognized NFC Nursing and Allied Health programs, which recently obtained state accreditation to offer a bachelor’s program in nursing. The Foundation welcomes the many new opportunities and challenges associated with NFC’s vision of excellence and expanding educational service provisions. NFC and the NFC Foundation are committed to fulfilling the need for regional educational opportunity and supporting the successful obtainment of educational aspirations. Our articles of incorporation as a Foundation state that “The purpose of the Foundation is to provide direct financial support for the students and programs of North Florida College.” The Foundation is part of the NFC vision of providing personalized, responsive support to our students. We look to the community to stand with us as the Foundation is challenged with the increasing number of students in financial need who are looking to NFC for a local, low-cost, high-quality education. This fall 2019, the NFC Foundation met a record number of 184 students’ financial needs because of the generosity of I challenge you to stand with us!
