PTK Honors
ALL-FLORIDA ACADEMIC TEAM
North Florida College students Brianna Mays,
left, and Summer Roberts, right, were named
to the 2020 Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) All-Florida
Academic Team and honored among 166 of the most
outstanding students in the Florida College System
at an awards ceremony in St. Petersburg on March
6. They received recognition and a medallion for
outstanding academic achievement, leadership and
service to the community. “Academic success and
service to others are cornerstones of the Florida
College System’s mission and the students honored
represent the very best in our colleges,” said FCS
Chancellor Kathy Hebda. “Phi Theta Kappa students
are leaders on their campus and are role models
in their families and communities. I am proud to
celebrate their accomplishments and recognize the
colleges that have helped them achieve their success.”
Mays and Roberts both graduated from NFC with
AA degrees in May. Congratulations!
