The Texas Camino Real District Export Council’s (DEC) objective is to contribute leadership and international trade expertise to complement the U.S. Commercial Service’s export promotion efforts through counseling businesses on the exporting process, conducting trade education events and in community outreach. Our goal is to make a significant contribution to America’s international competitiveness by expanding the reach of the innovative product and services to customers around the globe.
The Texas Camino Real DEC is a group of trade ambassadors and export practitioners located in Central and South Texas who volunteer their time and expertise to provide leadership and guidance to the international business community. Members are appointed by the U.S. Secretary of Commerce to encourage and support export expansion activities and the promotion of exports at the local level, for our Central and South Texas manufacturers and service companies.
