Everything is possible
I really appreciate how Arts Printing House welcomed us. Our stay in the building
was free and easy, and the people working in the theatre were very friendly and
helpful. It is just a great adventure to be
able to stay in the theatre where you perform! Almost as if we slept onstage. And
in the end, to make something happen,
you don’t need much. Sometimes, the
most simple ways are the best ways. I am
very happy something large sprung from
the small seed of our idea. I hope it will
be kept alive and will make it even easier
to exchange and share circus together.

I believe it is really important to bring
young artists to a country like Lithuania.
New circus arts are just coming to Lithuania, and the more it comes to the inside
from the outside, the more it stays there.
Since there is no circus school in Lithuania, I believethis festival is the primary way
to educate and stoke interest about this
art form. A lot of people imagine circus
as entertainment, a show parents attend
with their children to watch some clowns
with red noses and animals doing tricks.
Gebouw troupe can help show Lithuania
the many-facetted world of New Circus.
Most of the artists are still students, but
they have quality and good ideas. They
are also very open to share what they
know about circus with a new audience.
I think it is important to perform for new
audiences because it might help contemporary circus to grow in new places. It is
a pity that there is no New Circus school
in the Baltic countries, but until it is founded, people should be aware that doors
to other countries are open. New Circus
education is a attainable. ///

Only a small minority knows that circus
also has another aspect, a form in which
dance, theatre, music, visual arts, etc... can
